This well known children's nursery rhyme, ‘Sing A Song For Sixpence – with Randolph Caldecott illustrations’, was originally published in as part of Caldecott's 'Picture Books' series. As mentioned, it doesn't have a plot, but follows Laurie through the hardship, loneliness, grief, loves and miseries to these formative years of his life.
